Article 31 of the Village Mayors and Sheikhs Law

استثناء من أحكام هذا القانون، يجوز لوزير الداخلية استثناء بعض المحافظات
أو المناطق الحدودية لطبيعتها من الخضوع لأحكام هذا القانون أو بعض منه
بقرار يصدر منه.

يسرى هذا القانون على الجهات التى عوملت بالقانون رقم 59 لسنة 1964
فى شأن العمد والمشايخ والمحافظات التى يصدر بتحديدها قرار من وزير الداخلية .
(١) المادة (٢٩) مستبدلة بالقانون رقم 26 لسنة 1994
وإلى أن تصدر القرارات التنفيذية لهذا القانون يستمر العمل بالقرارات المعمول بها
حاليا إلى أن تعدل أو تلغى .
وعند تطبيق هذا القانون فى إحدى المحافظات لأول مرة يتولى وزير الداخلية
اختصاص تشكيل جميع اللجان التى نص عليها .
