يعاقب بالعقوبة المذكورة فى المادة السابقة كل من أدخل بنفسه أو بواسطة غيره فى مصر أو أخرج منها عملة مقلدة أو مزيفة أو مزورة . وكذلك كل من روجها أو حازها بقصد الترويج أو التعامل بها.

إذا ارتكبت إحدى الجرائم المنصوص عنها في المادة السابقة فيما يتعلق بمسكوكات غير المذكورة في تلك المادة فتكون العقوبة الأشغال الشاقة أو السجن من ثلاث سنوات إلى سبع .
