على كل من يحوز أقطان زهر أن ينتهى من حلجها فى موسم انتاجها وفى ميعاد لا يجاوز ١٥ مارس فى الوجه القبلى و٣١ مارس فى الوجه البحرى ، وذلك فيما عدا الأقطان الزهر الناتجة من تقاوى الاكثار المتعاقد عليها مع وزارة الزراعة فيجب الانتهاء من حلجها فى موسم انتاجها فى ميعاد لا يجاوز ٣١ ديسمبر من كل سنة .
