يقوم العميد بتصريف أمور الكلية وإدارة شئونها العلمية والإدارية والمالية، ويكون مسئولا عن تنفيذ القوانين واللوائح الجامعية، وكذلك عن تنفيذ قرارات مجلس الكلية ومجلس الجامعة والمجلس الأعلى للجامعات فى حدود هذه القوانين واللوائح.
