Article 2 of the Universities Organisation Law

الجامعات التى يسرى عليها هذا القانون هى:
( أ ) جامعة القاهرة، ومقرها القاهرة.
(ب) جامعة الاسكندرية، ومقرها الاسكندرية.
(ج) جامعة عين شمس، ومقرها القاهرة.
(د) جامعة أسيوط، ومقرها أسيوط.
(ه) جامعة وسط الدلتا، ومقرها طنطا.
(و) جامعة شرق الدلتا، ومقرها المنصورة.
ويجوز إنشاء فروع لهذه الجامعات وتعيين مقرها بقرار من رئيس الجمهورية بناء على عرض وزير التعليم العالى، وبعد أخذ رأى مجلس الجامعة المختصة وموافقة المجلس الأعلى للجامعات.
