Article 58 of the Exercise of Political Rights Law

يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على خمس سنوات كل من استخدم القوة أو العنف مع أى
من المذكورين فى المادة (٧١) من هذا القانون ، بقصد منعه من أداء العمل المنوط به
أو إكراهه على أدائه على وجه خاص ولم يبلغ بذلك مقصده .
فإن بلغ الجانى مقصده تكون العقوبة السجن ، وتكون العقوبة السجن المشدد
إذا صدر من الجانى ضرب أو جرح نشأت عنه عاهة مستديمة ، وتكون العقوبة السجن المؤبد
إذا أفضى الضرب أو الجرح إلى الموت .
