يلغى القانون رقم ١٦٦ لسنة ١٩٥٤ بإصدار قانون نظام السلكين الدبلوماسى والقنصلى والقانون رقم ٥٠ لسنة ١٩٧٠ فى شأن العاملين فى سلك التمثيل التجارى كما يلغى كل حكم يخالف " أحكام " هذا القانون .
ومع ذلك يستمر العمل باللوائح الصادرة تنفيذا لهذين القانونين ، فيما لا يتعارض مع أحكام القانون المرافق ، وذلك إلى حين صدور لائحته التنفيذية .
