يجوز بقرار من رئيس الجمهورية تعيين قناصل ونواب قناصل فخريين
في البلاد التي لجمهورية مصر العربية مصالح فيها . وتحدد الأعمال التي يباشرونها ودوائر
اختصاصاتهم بقرار يصدره وزير الخارجية . ولا يتقاضى القناصل ونواب القناصل
الفخريون مرتبات من الدولة ويجوز بقرار من رئيس الجمهورية بناء على اقتراح وزير
الخارجية أن يقرر لهم مكافأة .
