يصرف لأعضاء السلك وغيرهم من العاملين المصريين بالبعثات التمثيلية الذين يحتجزون كرهائن نتيجة لعمليات الإرهاب تعويض خاص يعادل مجموع ما يتقاضونه فعلا من مرتبات ورواتب إضافية طوال فترة الاحتجاز وذلك بالإضافة إلى ما يستحق لهم من مرتبات ورواتب وتعويضات أخرى بموجب أحكام هذا القانون .
