تعتبر الأقدمية فى الوظيفة من تاريخ التعيين فيها فإذا اشتمل قرار التعيين على أكثر من عضو اعتبرت الأقدمية كما يلى :
( ١ ) إذا كان التعيين لأول مرة اعتبرت الأقدمية بين المعينين حسب ترتيب النجاح فى امتحان المسابقة .
( ب ) فى حالة إعادة تعيين عضو سابق اعتبرت أقدميته على أساس الأقدمية التى كان عليها فى وظيفته السابقة .
( ج ) إذا كان التعيين متضمنا ترقية ، اعتبرت الأقدمية على أساس الأقدمية فى الوظيفة السابقة .
