يستبدل بعبارتى “المجلس المحلى” و”المجالس المحلية” أينما وردتا فى القوانين واللوائح عبارتا “المجلس الشعبى المحلى” و”المجالس الشعبية المحلية”.
ويلغى القانون رقم 52 لسنة 1975 بإصدار قانون نظام الحكم المحلى، كما يلغى كل نص يخالف أحكام القانون المرافق,
