يتبع فى تحصيل الضرائب والرسوم المقررة للوحدات المحلية وفى الاعفاء منها وفى سقوطها بالتقادم القواعد المقررة بشأن الضرائب والرسوم العامة.
وتعتبر ديون تلك الضرائب والرسوم ديونا ممتازة على جميع أموال المدينين بها وتستوفى بعد المصاريف القضائية والضرائب الحكومية مباشرة.
ويجوز أن تتولى الأجهزة الحكومية المختصة ربط وتحصيل الضرائب والرسوم التى تخص الوحدات المحلية وأداء الحصيلة اليها وذلك بعد موافقة المجلس الشعبى المحلى للمحافظة.
