تكون شبكات الرصد البيئي طبقا لأحكام هذا القانون بما تضمه من محطات
ووحدات عمل، وتقوم في مجال اختصاصها برصد مكونات، وملوثات البيئة دوريا
وإتاحة البيانات للجهات المعنية، ولها في سبيل ذلك الاستعانة بمراكز البحوث
والهيئات والجهات المختصة، وعلى هذه المراكز والهيئات والجهات تزويدها بما
تطلبه من دراسات وبيانات.
ويشرف جهاز شئون البيئة على إنشاء وتشغيل شبكات الرصد البيئى .
