تعيين قائد الطائرة:
على المستثمر ألا يسمح بقيام أى رحلة الا بعد أن يعين أحد الطيارين قائدا للطائرة، يكون مسئولا عن سلامتها ومن عليها. وعلى جميع الأشخاص الموجودين على متن الطائرة تنفيذ أية أوامر أو تعليمات يصدرها قائدها لضمان سلامة الطائرة وما عليها من أشخاص وأموال وتأمينا لسلامة وانتظام الملاحة الجوية.
