على المرشد أن يجيب طلب السفينة التى عهد اليه بارشادها وعليه أن يقدم مساعدته للسفينة التى تكون فى خطر متى تبين له الخطر الملحق بها وذلك بعد اخطاره والاذن له بذلك، وفى هذه الحالة يكون للمرشد الحق فى مكافأة خاصة يحددها رئيس مجلس ادارة الهيئة.
