Article 138 of the Armed Forces Officers Service and Promotion Law

تنتهى خدمة الضباط لأحد الأسباب الآتية :
( ١ ) الإحالة إلى المعاش بأنواعه
( ٢ ) الاستغناء عن خدماته
( ٣ ) الطرد من الخدمة بحكم من المجلس العسكرى
( ٤ ) صدور حكم عليه فى جناية أو جريمة مخلة بالشرف
( ٥ ) الاستقالة
( ٦ ) فقد جنسية الجمهورية العربية المتحدة
( ٧ ) عدم اللياقة صحيا للخدمة العسكرية
( ٨ ) الوفاة
ويجوز لرئيس الجمهورية بقرار منه إنهاء خدمة الضابط بإحالته إلى المعاش .
