على العضو أن يلتزم فى أداء مهنته بتقاليدها وشرفها وأن يؤدى قبل مزاولتها أمام هيئة تشكل من ثلاثة أعضاء يختارهم مجلس النقابة اليمين الآتية (أقسم بالله العظيم أن أؤدى أعمال مهنتى بالأمانة والشرف وأن أحافظ على أسرارها وأن أحترم قوانينها وآدابها وتقاليدها).
