لموظفى المصلحة ممن لهم صفة الضبطية القضائية حق الصعود إلى جميع وسائل النقل داخل نطاق الرقابة الجمركية لتفتيشها والمطالبة بتقديم قوائم الشحن (المانيفست) وغيرها من المستندات التى تقتضيها القواعد المقررة .
وفى حالة الامتناع عن تقديم المستندات أو عدم وجودها أو الاشتباه فى وجود بضائع مهربة تتخذ التدابير اللازمة لضبط البضائع واقتياد وسيلة النقل أيا كانت إلى أقرب نقطة أو دائرة جمركية عند الاقتضاء .
