هيئة الثروة المعدنية والصناعات التعدينية ، هيئة عامة اقتصادية ، لها شخصية اعتبارية ، وتتبع الوزير المختص ، ويكون مقرها الرئيس مدينة القاهرة ، ويجوز بقرار من مجلس إدارتها إنشاء مكاتب أو فروع لها داخل أو خارج جمهورية مصر العربية .
