لا تسرى أحكام قانون حماية المستهلك الصادر بالقانون رقم ١٨١ لسنة ٢٠١٨
على الجهات المرخص لها بموجب أحكام هذا القانون ، ويختص البنك المركزى بحماية حقوق
العملاء ، وله فى سبيل ذلك على الأخص ما يأتى :
( أ) وضع الخطط وبرامج العمل لحماية حقوق العملاء .
(ب) نشر الثقافة المصرفية والمالية بين المواطنين .
(ج) تلقى الشكاوى من عملاء الجهات المرخص لها وفحصها .
