١ - يخضع شكل الالتزامات بموجب الكمبيالة لقانون الدولة التى صدرت فيها .
٢ - ومع ذلك إذا كان الالتزام غير صحيح شكلا بموجب القانون المشار إليه فى الفقرة السابقة ولكنه صحيح شكلا وفقا لأحكام القانون المصرى ، فلا يكون لعيبه الشكلى أثر فى صحة الالتزامات اللاحقة التى تنشأ بموجب الكمبيالة فى مصر .
