لايجوز الاتفاق على منع طالب التوريد من التعاقد مع غير المورد على شراء بضائع أو الحصول بمقابل على خدمات مماثلة للبضائع أو الخدمات محل عقد التوريد إلا لمدة لاتجاوز خمس سنوات من تاريخ العقد ، وذلك أيا كانت الميزات التى يقررها المورد لطالب التوريد ، وكل اتفاق على مدة أطول يخفض إلى خمس سنوات ، ولايجوز تجديد المدة إلا بعد انتهائها ولمرة واحدة وباتفاق صريح .
