تنتهى عقود إيجار الأماكن الخاضعة لأحكام هذا القانون لغرض السكني بانتهاء مدة سبع سنوات من تاريخ العمل به ، وتنتهى عقود إيجار الأماكن للأشخاص الطبيعية لغير غرض السكنى بانتهاء مدة خمس سنوات من تاريخ العمل به ، وذلك كله ما لم يتم التراضى على الإنهاء قبل ذلك .
