لا يجوز للمصفى أن يبدأ أعمالا جديدة الا اذا كانت لازمة لاتمام أعمال سابقة ، واذا قام المصفى بأعمال جديدة لا تقتضيها التصفية كان مسئولا فى جميع أمواله عن هذه الأعمال ، واذا تعدد المصفون كانوا مسئولين بالتضامن .
ولا يجوز للمصفى أن يبيع موجودات الشركة جملة الا باذن من الجمعية العامة أو جماعة الشركاء على حسب الأحوال .
