على كل شركة مرخص لها وفقا لأحكام هذا القانون إذا قررت وقف عملياتها فى
فرع أو أكثر من فروع التأمين وترغب فى تحرير أموالها كلها أو بعضها أن تقدم إلى
الهيئة طلبا بذلك ، ويكون تقديم هذا الطلب والبت فيه وفقا للقواعد والإجراءات التى
يصدرها مجلس إدارة الهيئة .
