يعفى من الضرائب والرسوم الجمركية ما تستورده الهيئة من المعدات والآلات والأجهزة الفنية اللازمة للتشغيل بمشروعات الهيئة وذلك بشرط المعاينة وبناء على إقرار من الهيئة بأن الأشياء المستوردة تخص مشروعاتها أو نشاط التشغيل بها .
ولا يجوز التصرف في الأشياء محل الإعفاء قبل مضي خمس سنوات من تاريخ الإعفاء وإلا استحقت عنها الضرائب والرسوم الجمركية .
