تنشأ هيئة عامة اقتصادية تسمى «الهيئة المصرية للشراء الموحد والإمداد والتموين الطبى وإدارة التكنولوجيا الطبية» ، تكون لها الشخصية الاعتبارية ، وتتبع رئيس مجلس الوزراء ، ويكون لها مقر رئيس يحدد بقرار من رئيس مجلس الوزراء ، ويجوز بقرار من مجلس إدارة الهيئة إنشاء مقرات أخرى لها ، ويشار إليها فى هذا القانون بالهيئة المصرية للشراء الموحد .
