Article 1 of the Ban on Foreign Ownership of Agricultural Land Law

يحظر على الأجانب سواء أكانوا أشخاصا طبيعيين أم اعتباريين تملك الأراضي الزراعية وما في حكمها من الأراضي القابلة للزراعة والبور والصحراوية في الجمهورية العربية المتحدة ، ويشمل هذا الحظر الملكية التامة كما يشمل ملكية الرقبة أو حق الانتفاع .
ولا تعتبر أرضا زراعية في تطبيق أحكام هذا القانون الأراضي الداخلة في نطاق المدن والبلاد التي تسري عليها أحكام القانون رقم ٥٢ لسنة ١٩٤٠ المشار إليه إذا كانت غير خاضعة لضريبة الأطيان .
ويستثنى الفلسطينيون من تطبيق أحكام هذا القانون مؤقتا .
