يحظر تشغيل أى طلمبات على المساقى المطورة أو إجراء أى تعديل على مكونات نظم الري المتطور إلا بعد موافقة الإدارة العامة المختصة .
وتنظم اللائحة التنفيذية لهذا القانون أسلوب تنفيذ وإدارة وانتفاع الزراع بنظم الري المتطور فى الأراضى الزراعية القديمة والتى تروى بنظم الري السطحى من خلال الترع والمساقى .
ويلتزم أصحاب الأراضى القديمة والمنتفعون بنظم الري المتطور التى تقرها الوزارة .
