يجب على كل من يبلغ خمسة عشر عاما من مواطني جمهورية مصر العربية أن يتقدم بطلب للحصول على بطاقة تحقيق شخصية من قسم السجل المدني الذي يقيم بدائرته وذلك خلال ستة أشهر من تاريخ بلوغه السن.
