Article 47 of the Civil Status Law

لا يجوز إجراء أي تغيير أو تصحيح في قيود الأحوال المدنية المسجلة عن وقائع الميلاد والوفاة وقيد الأسرة إلا بناء على قرار يصدر بذلك من اللجنة المنصوص عليها في المادة السابقة.
ويكون إجراء التغيير أو التصحيح في الجنسية أو الديانة أو المهنة - أو في قيود الأحوال المدنية المتعلقة بالزواج أو بطلانه أو التصادق أو الطلاق أو التطليق أو التفريق الجسماني أو إثبات النسب بناء على أحكام أو وثائق صادرة من جهة الاختصاص دون حاجة إلى استصدار قرار من اللجنة المشار إليها.
