يكون قيد الطفل غير الشرعي طبقا للبيانات التي يدلي بها المبلغ وعلى مسئوليته عدا إثبات اسمي الوالدين أو أحدهما فيكون بناء على طلب كتابي ممن يرغب منهما ووفقا للإجراءات المنصوص عليها في اللائحة التنفيذية.
ولا يكسب القيد في السجل أو الصور المستخرجة منه أي حق يتعارض مع القواعد المقررة في شأن الأحوال الشخصية.
