تتولى مصلحة الأحوال المدنية بوزارة الداخلية تنفيذ أحكام هذا القانون ولوزير الداخلية إصدار القرارات اللازمة بإنشاء مراكز معلومات للأحوال المدنية، ومحطات للإصدار الآلي لبطاقات إثبات الشخصية ووثائق الأحوال المدنية وأقسام ووحدات سجل مدني في الجهات التي يعينها.
