علامات تحديد الوحدات العقارية مملوكة للدولة . فإذا فقدت أية علامة أو تلفت أو غير مكانها بمعرفة أحد من غير الموظفين المختصين فإن مصروفات إعادة وضعها تقع على عاتق من ثبتت مسئوليته وإلا حصلت تلك المصروفات من واضع اليد والملاك الذين وضعت العلامة لتحديد وحداتهم وذلك بالتضامن فيما بينهم بالطرق الإدارية .
