يقع واجب تقديم الطفل لتطعيمه ضد الجدرى أو تحصينه بالحقن الواقى من الدفتريا على عاتق والده أو الشخص الذى يكون الطفل فى حضانته ويجوز تطعيم الطفل أو تحصينه بواسطة طبيب مرخص له بمزاولة المهنة بشرط أن تقدم الجهات الصحية المختصة شهادة تثبت إتمام التطعيم أو التحصين قبل انتهاء الميعاد المحدد لذلك .
