مع عدم الإخلال بأحكام القانون رقم ٤٤ لسنة ١٩٥٥ فى شأن إجراءات الحجر الصحى ، يجوز لوزير الصحة العمومية أن يصدر القرارات اللازمة لعزل أو رقابة أو ملاحظة الأشخاص والحيوانات
القادمة من الخارج كما يصدر القرارات التى تحدد الاشتراطات الصحية الواجب توافرها لدخول البضائع أو الأشياء المستوردة من الخارج لمنع انتشار الأمراض المعدية .
