لا يجوز الحجز على الأشياء الآتية إلا لاقتضاء ثمنها أو مصاريف صيانتها أو نفقة مقررة :
( ١ ) ما يلزم المدين من كتب وأدوات ومهمات لمزاولة مهنته أو حرفته بنفسه .
( ٢ ) إناث الماشية اللازمة لانتفاع المدين في معيشته هو وأسرته وما يلزم لغذاء هذه الماشية لمدة شهر .
