تتولى مناطق التجنيد والتعبئة وأفرع التجنيد والتعبئة بالمحافظات ومراكز التجنيد والتعبئة بأقسام ومراكز الشرطة مسئولية تعبئة الاحتياط للقوات المسلحة بأفرعها المختلفة والشرطة والمصالح والهيئات ذات النظام العسكرى في حدود التخطيط الذى تضعه الجهة المختصة بوزارة الدفاع .
وتنظم اجراءات التسجيل والتعبئة بقرار يصدر من وزير الدفاع .
