لكل جمعيتين تعاونيتين محليتين أو أكثر أن تؤسس جمعية تعاونية مشتركة تختص بتقديم خدمات اقتصادية أو مالية أو اجتماعية تتطلبها الجمعيات المنتمية إليها أو تحديد الوسائل التى تكفل للجمعيات المذكورة تحقيق هذه الخدمات وتقديم المواد التى تستهلكها هذه الجمعيات ولا يجوز أن تقبل الأفراد ضمن أعضائها .
وللجمعيات التعاونية المحلية والجمعيات التعاونية المشتركة أن تكون فيما بينها جمعيات تعاونية عامة .
