إذا رأت المحكمة أن حالة الطفل البدنية أو العقلية أو النفسية تستلزم
فحصه قبل الفصل فى الدعوى قررت وضعه تحت الملاحظة فى أحد الأماكن المناسبة المدة
التى تلزم لذلك ، ويوقف السير فى الدعوى إلى أن يتم هذا الفحص .
