يعاقب بغرامة لا تقل عن مائتى جنيه ولا تجاوز ألف جنيه من سلم إليه طفل وأهمل
فى أداء أحد واجباته إذا ترتب على ذلك ارتكاب الطفل جريمة أو تعرضه للخطر فى إحدى
الحالات المبينة فى هذا القانون .
فإذا كان ذلك ناشئا عن إخلال جسيم بواجباته تكون العقوبة الحبس مدة لا تقل
عن ثلاثة أشهر ولا تجاوز سنة وغرامة لا تقل عن ألف جنيه ولا تجاوز خمسة آلاف جنيه
أو بإحدى هاتين العقوبتين .
