مع عدم الإخلال بالعقوبات المنصوص عليها فى هذا القانون أو غيره من القوانين يجوز لرئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة بناء على قرار من اللجنة الدائمة للآثار ودون حاجة إلى الالتجاء إلى القضاء أن يقرر إزالة أى تعد على موقع أثرى أو عقار أثرى بالطريق الإدارى وتتولى شرطة الآثار المختصة تنفيذ قرار الإزالة ، ويلزم المخالف بإعادة الوضع إلى ما كان عليه ، وإلا جاز للهيئة أن تقوم بتنفيذ ذلك على نفقته .
