يتم تسجيل الأثر بقرار من الوزير المختص بشئون الثقافة بناء على اقتراح مجلس إدارة الهيئة ويعلن القرار الصادر بتسجيل الأثر العقارى إلى ما لكه أو المكلف باسمه بالطريق الإدارى وينشر فى الوقائع المصرية ويؤشر بذلك على هامش تسجيل العقار فى الشهر العقارى .
