Article 33 of the Police Authority Law

لا يجوز للضابط أن ينقطع عن عمله إلا لأجازة مصرح له بها فى حدود الأجازات المقررة فى هذا القانون.
وللضابط الحق فى يوم واحد للراحة فى الأسبوع فاذا اقتضى نظام العمل إلغاء هذا اليوم بأمر من رئيس المصلحة وجب منحه يوما آخر بدله.
وللضابط كذلك الحق فى أجازة بمرتب كامل فى أيام عطلات الأعياد والمناسبات الرسمية التى يحددها قرار يصدر من رئيس مجلس الوزراء، فاذا تعذر على الضابط القيام بها كلها أو بعضها بسبب نظام العمل منح عددا مماثلا من الأيام بدلا منها.
ويجوز فى المناطق التى يحددها وزير الداخلية تجميع أيام الراحة أو العطلات المؤجلة والقيام بها مرة كل شهر دون حساب أيام السفر وفق القواعد التى يضعها وزير الداخلية.
