يحل المساعد الأول لوزير الداخلية محل الوكيل الأول لوزارة الداخلية، كما يحل مساعدو الوزير محل وكلاء وزارة الداخلية فى الاختصاصات المقررة للوكيل الأول ولوكلاء الوزارة بمقتضى القوانين واللوائح ويعاملون نفس المعاملة المقررة لهم فى القوانين واللوائح بما لا يتعارض مع أحكام هذا القانون.
