كل بالة مكبوسة كبسا مائيا أو بخاريا يجب أن توضع عليها الشارة المميزة لصنف القطن الموجود بداخلها والرقم المميز للمحلج أو المكبس.
وتحدد بقرار من رئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة التحكيم واختبارات القطن الأرقام المميزة للمحلج والمكابس وطريقة وضع الشارة وشكلها،
