العقوبات التأديبية التى يجوز توقيعها على أعضاء هيئة التدريس هى:
(1) الإنذار.
(2) توجيه اللوم.
(3) توجيه اللوم مع تأخير العلاوة المستحقة.
(4) العزل من الوظيفة مع الاحتفاظ بالمعاش أو المكافأة.
(5) العزل مع الحرمان من كل أو بعض المعاش أو المكافأة، وفقا للقوانين واللوائح المعمول بها هذا الشأن.
وكل فعل يزرى بشرف عضو هيئة التدريس أو لا يلائم صفته كعالم مسلم، أو يتعارض مع حقائق الإسلام، أو يمس دينه ونزاهته يكون جزاؤه العزل.
