يجوز منح لقب عضو فخرى لأعضاء المجمع السابقين، أو لمن يؤدى للإسلام خدمات علمية ذات أثر، ويصدر بمنح هذا اللقب قرار من رئيس الجمهورية بناء على عرض الوزير المختص باقتراح من مؤتمر المجمع.
