يجب أن تكون الأغذية المستوردة من الخارج مطابقة لأحكام هذا القانون، ويجوز لوزير الصحة بقرار منه أن يحدد الأصناف التى يجب مصاحبتها بشهادة صحية من البلد المنتج وشروط هذه الشهادة كما يجوز بقرار مماثل حظر استيراد ما يثبت خطره على الصحة العامة من أصناف الأغذية أو الأوعية أو العناصر الداخلية فى تحضيرها أو المضافة إليها.
