Article 1 of the Weights and Measures Law

الوحدات القانونية للوزن والقياس والكيل هى:
( أ ) الوحدات الأساسية وهى الكيلو جرام والمتر والثانية والأمبير والدرجة كلفن والقنديلة والمول.
(ب) وحدات الوزن وقياس الأطوال والكيل ومقاييس المسطحات المحددة فى الجدول رقم (1) الملحق بهذا القانون.
(ج) أجزاء ومضاعفات وحدات الوزن وقياس الأطوال والكيل المبينة بالجدول رقم (2) الملحق بهذا القانون.
ويجوز بقرار من الوزير المختص تعديل الجدول رقم (2) المشار إليه بإضافة أو بحذف بعض الوحدات.
